The award ceremony of the Academic Student Promotion Award of 2013 took place in the beautiful Kasteel Vaalsbroek in Vaals/NED, close to Aachen.
The winners of the annually given award are:
1. Marten Frehe-Siermann (price: 1.500€), with his Diploma in „Konzeption einer Wettkampfserie im Springreiten unter Berücksichtigung von Sponsoreninteressen“ (Sporthochschule Köln/GER).
2. Anna Wallenborn (price: 1.000€), with her Bachelor-Thesis in „Visual Attention in Dressage Judges“ (Van Hall Larenstein University, Wageningen/NED).
3. Christiane Baars (price: 500€), with her Bachelor-Thesis in „The effect of disabled children and adults on horse´s heart rate variability during therapeutic horseback riding“ (Van Hall Larenstein University, Wageningen/NED).
Dissertation (wasn’t considered in the main evaluation): Dr. med. vet. Kristina Goslar (won a bridle), with her Doctoral Thesis in „Temperament- und Charakterbeurteilung beim Reitpferd“ (Veterinarian University of Hannover/GER).
